We had a fun little book club pot luck on the Sunday before St. Patrick’s Day and I am just now getting around to posting the pictures. R and I made corned beef and cabbage out of our favorite cookbook and my book club girls brought yummy apps, side dishes and dessert. We prepped for a wild night with corned beef, cabbage and car bombs, besides Brian we didn’t have any takers for the car bombs. I was a champ, and finally learned to drink Irish Car Bombs – in fact I had three! Delish.
After everyone left, R and I sat out by the fire while Izzie tried to steal and chew our fire poking sticks. It was nice to relax by the fire with my husband. The weather was warmer and if only it was 35 degrees warmer, it would have felt like summer.
