At her two year appointment the doctor said go for the potty training and don’t look back! No pullups. Just take a few days and do it. She said 50 years ago most kids were potty trained by two. I realize now that’s probably because 50 years ago most moms didn’t work. Anyhow, we are not quite ready for the cold turkey yet. In her new room at school she sits on the potty at every diaper change – about four times a day. Since Monday she’s been a champ at sitting for us in the evenings too, which we hadn’t been having luck with before she sat at school. And last night, on only the fourth night of trying, she peed in her potty! So proud of her!
